Product Overview
The 8B Series is a sealed sub‑miniature surface‑mount (SMT) pushbutton switch designed for compact electronic devices. Featuring an IP67 waterproof sealed construction and SMT process, the series measures only approximately 8.13 × 6.2 mm, making it one of the smallest sealed pushbutton switches currently available on the market. The 8B Series supports both momentary ON (normally open) and momentary OFF (normally closed) functions, with a current‑carrying capacity of up to 3A @ 120VAC / 28VDC. It is widely used in industrial automation, precision instruments, telecommunications equipment, consumer electronics, medical devices, and other applications.

Key Features
1. Simple & Reliable Switching Functions: Provides both Momentary ON (normally open) and Momentary OFF (normally closed) functions to meet standard application requirements, with clear and positive tactile feedback.
2. Superior Waterproof Performance:The only opening is sealed with a rubber seal, achieving IP67 certification to ensure stable and reliable operation in humid or water‑exposed environments.
3. Flexible SMT Terminal Options:Available with MT terminals (straight SMT type) and standard MZ terminals to accommodate different surface‑mount process requirements.
4. High‑Temperature Materials & High Current Rating:Switch materials are rigorously tested to withstand standard reflow soldering temperatures. The silver‑contact version offers a current rating of up to 3A @ 120VAC or 28VDC, balancing process compatibility with electrical performance.
5. Ultra‑Compact Design:Measures only approximately 8.13 × 6.2 mm, significantly reducing rear‑panel footprint, making it ideal for high‑density mounting and space‑constrained equipment designs.
6. Contact Material Options:Available with silver‑plated contacts (high‑current applications) and gold‑plated contacts (low‑current signal‑level applications), meeting diverse application needs.
