Product Overview
The PS9 Series is an intrusion detection switch with pre‑attached wires, meticulously designed for equipment security and status monitoring. Breaking away from the conventional requirement of on‑site soldering, the switch comes with wires pre‑assembled to the body during the design phase. Users only need to design a retention feature (snap‑fit) to complete installation, greatly simplifying the assembly process. The switch employs a miniature plunger mechanism: when the equipment cover, cabinet door, or drawer is illegally opened, the plunger pops out and triggers the signal circuit, immediately feeding back the intrusion status to the security host or control system. With a maximum load capacity of 0.4VA and an operating voltage of 20V AC/DC, it is purpose‑built for signal detection loops. A mechanical and electrical life of 100,000 cycles ensures long‑term reliable operation. From data center cabinets to telecom base stations, the PS9 embodies the design philosophy of "install and use, hidden from sight"—a silent yet vigilant sentinel in equipment security systems.

Key Features:
1. Pre‑attached wires – ready to use with zero soldering:
The switch comes with wires pre‑assembled at the factory, eliminating the need for on‑site soldering and completely avoiding process risks such as cold joints or loose connections. Users only need to design retention features (snap‑fits) into the equipment structure and insert the switch for secure mounting. This boosts assembly line efficiency several times over, and also makes after‑sales maintenance and replacement exceptionally easy.
2. Multiple connector options – modular plug‑and‑play:
In addition to the standard wire‑lead version, four standard connector types are available to suit the interface requirements of different security hosts and PLCs. The modular plug‑and‑play design makes system integration as simple as building blocks, reducing the risk of wiring errors.
3. Selectable plunger lengths – fitting thousands of installation scenarios:
A variety of plunger length options are offered, ranging from thin cabinet doors to thick equipment covers, from drawer‑type structures to hinged access panels. There is always a length that precisely matches the contact travel, ensuring reliable depression when the cover is closed and instant pop‑up actuation when opened.
4. 100,000‑cycle life – a long‑term guardian for security systems:
Both mechanical and electrical life exceed 100,000 cycles (under full load). In 24/7 data centers or unattended telecom base stations, the PS9 delivers stable performance for years without frequent replacement, reducing maintenance costs.
5. Miniature signal load – the perfect partner for detection circuits:
Rated at 0.4VA max @ 20V AC/DC, it is specifically designed for low‑power signal detection loops. It perfectly matches security alarm panels, PLC input modules, and MCU GPIO ports, with extremely low power consumption that adds no burden to the system.
6. 500Vrms dielectric strength – safe isolation between signals and high voltages:
With a dielectric strength of 500Vrms, it provides reliable insulation isolation in signal detection circuits. Even in the presence of surrounding electromagnetic interference or induced voltages, the switch will not break down, ensuring clean and safe detection signals.
