5M Series Slide Switch is an industrial‑grade slide switch designed for medium‑to‑high‑power circuit control applications, with a rated current‑carrying capacity of up to 5 amperes, covering two mainstream circuit topologies: SPDT and DPDT. With a core design philosophy of high flexibility and customisation, the series offers seven different actuator lengths and multiple colour options, while also supporting both vertical and horizontal mounting orientations as well as 90°/180° terminal bending angles, seamlessly adapting to various compact PCB layouts and diverse human‑machine interface requirements.

1. High Current Carrying Capacity – Capable of Power-Level Control:
With a rated current of 5A (resistive load @ 120VAC / 28VDC), this switch far exceeds conventional signal‑level slide switches. It can directly drive small‑to‑medium motors, heating elements, and power supply modules, reducing the need for intermediate components such as relays and simplifying circuit design.
2. Fully Customizable Modular System:
From actuator length (7 options), appearance color, terminal bending angle (90°/180°), to mounting orientation (vertical / horizontal side‑actuated), the 5M series offers a modular combination of choices. This allows the switch to serve not only as a functional component but also as an integral part of the product’s industrial design.
3. Triple‑Material Protective Architecture:
The actuator is made of black nylon, ensuring both insulation safety and good tactile feel; the housing uses stainless steel for structural strength and EMI shielding; the base is molded with DAP thermosetting plastic (UL94V‑0 flame‑rating). Together, they form a composite protection system with high temperature resistance, impact resistance, and flame retardancy.
4. Stable Operation Over a Wide Temperature Range:
With an operating temperature range of ‑40°C to +85°C, the switch maintains reliable electrical on‑off performance in both cold outdoor equipment and high‑temperature industrial enclosures.
5. Low Contact Resistance for High Signal Integrity:
Initial contact resistance is ≤10 mΩ. Silver‑plated or gold‑plated contact options are available to meet the different requirements of high‑power conduction and low‑level signal switching, respectively.
